Lancôme Custom Glow Drops

The big hit in makeup nowadays is definitely highlighters. The highlighter hype is here to stay! There is so many ways to highlight your face.

Without surprise, big beauty brands are following this trend and there is an endless sort of textures to make your skin glow and stand out from a crowd.

A friend of mine brought me some samples of the new Lancôme Custom Glow Drops and I think these are pretty amazing!

They look like a copy of the Cover Fx Drops, but there is a lot differences, only the packaging looks the same.

First of all I prefer these Lancôme Custom Drops, because the texture is thicker and blends better with matte foundations. Second I can blend them with my favourite foundation: Lancôme Ultra Wear (https://inmakeup.blog/2018/02/18/first-blog-post/). Last but not least, they are cheaper comparing to Cover Fx and the quantity of the bottle is the same. The only disadvantage that I find in the Lancôme Custom Drops comparing with Cover Fx, is that you don’t have as many shades and there isn’t a beautiful holographic glow drop as Cover Fx Halo, which is one of my favourites. Rather than that, I absolutely love Lancôme Drops!

They are easy to use, long lasting and multifunctional. Below, you can see the swatches of the four Custom Drops.

However they are classified as strobing, sculpting and highlight, I feel you can use them as you want. For example in my recent video on youtube (https://youtu.be/eVbsQ5-UVyI) I mix Ultra Wear Foundation with the Bronze Glow Custom Drop to make my foundation darker. Hence I worked out this Custom Drop as a highlight instead of a strobing. Take a look on the picture to see the result.

It doesn’t even look like a matte foundation, but it stays on as longwear matte full coverage foundation. If you have oily skin as mine and you struggle finding a dewy foundation that doesn’t slide off, then this is the right choice. Just add some drops to your matte foundation and welcome to the glowy ultimate makeup obsession!

Have you tried them yet?
